Returning home to LinuxCon Europe 2016

Thanks to my friendly colleagues at Tamedia Digital, I was able to attend LinuxCon/ContainerCon Europe 2016 conference organized by The Linux Foundation and Mr. Robot LSocietyheld in Berlin, Germany. My main focus was to get an overview of the current mindset regarding container technology and talk to engineers already in the middle of larger cloud native projects. Cloud native is thought of as a new computing paradigm for modern distributed, scalable and self-healing systems that are container packaged, dynamically managed and micro-services oriented.

In a series of posts I will highlight some take-home messages and interesting bits of the keynotes and talks I attended first, list some of the folks I met and finally give my overall impressions. Following is an overview of my track through the conference with links to the individual posts.
